A renowned sociologist, author, and technology thought leader, Dr. Tufekci has dedicated her career to exploring the intersection of society, technology, and human behavior. Her insightful analyses and unique perspectives have made her a sought-after voice on the impact of digital platforms on public discourse, privacy, and democracy.
In the keynote event, Dr. Tufekci will delve into the challenges and opportunities presented by technology including generative AI, such as ChatGPT. She will be providing an illuminating look at how we can navigate the complex digital landscape to foster meaningful communication, collaboration, and social change.

In 2022, Tufekci became the inaugural director of the Craig Newmark Center for Journalism Ethics and Security, at Columbia University.
